Google is the leader in the search industry. Since it's inception in the year 2010 it's market share has grown so much. It managed to dominate the search industry despite competition from other search engines or search companies. Google has done well in positioning itself but Google has not been without controversy including spy allegations. Despite the allegations of spying, GGoogle has continued to strengthen it's market share. Not only has it continued to strengthening the market share but also it's competitiveness. Google hasn't only limited its strategy to internet searches but has also gone into advertising, android, Google chrome, Google tv and Adwords. The financial position of Google has grown from strength to strength since it's inception. In 2011 revenue was at $37.9 billion and it is still growing strong despite competition. Google has used a diversified strategy to organize the world's information and make it universallly accessible and useful. Any person who has computer or laptop including a cell phone that has android can do searches for any kind of information any where in the world. The accessibility of Google makes it a good search engine. Google makes engine search a pleasure. The twenty four hour accessibility Google search engine makes it even easy for people from all walks of life to search information on different topics. Google may have to enhance its offerings to remain competitive. Continuous improvement is critical for it as new entrants may over take it if the company is relaxed complacent. Also the culture within the organization must be upheld. Because searchers are made in different parts of the world Google has to do businessmen the most ethical and honest way in order to compete globally.
