Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would

be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

I am presently lying on the edges of my senior year in high school and the realism of what lies ahead. Through all the time anticipated in school and all the education built up, I am definitely ready to progress and start accomplishing my goals. College is near, and I am beginning to think about all the things that have impacted me within the barriers of school and social life.

How was my life growing up? What were my interests and how is what I want to do going to make a difference? All these questions are segments to the puzzle of growth. Characterizing each and every segment leading up to my final year in grade school and what happens next.

Thus far it's been a journey. Every journey is replete with unexplained cliffhangers, adversities, and hurdles and I couldn't be any more grateful for having the opportunity to experience such a journey. School has taught me many things and has groomed me for future reference, in a way school has helped mold the individual that I am at present. My journey is almost to an end and another one begins. That of which is college, it's finally arrived after all these years and it's my time to prepare and move towards fulfilling my dreams and aspirations.

I've had a few issues and concerns with family growing up as a child. However, I didn't let that bring me down though. Growing up, my father and mother's relationship deteriorated. It affected me both in a positive and not so positive way. Not to say that my parents are not great parents because they are.
