Martin Luther King Tribute

A King was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia to lift up his brothers and sisters. A world filled with hatred met a man filled with love. In the midst of those dark days of segregation lived a strong potential energy called hope. Martin Luther King raised hope through his, speeches, preaches, and teaches. Many lives were altered by his powerful charisma that instilled ideas of a new world that should’ve existed a long time ago. Such a brave man existed, and he likely knew his life was at stake.

When Martin spoke his words through speeches, his voice permeated into the hearts of all who listened. His wisdom was as wise as an old owl. Many men meant to mend the mortifying after effects of coercive labor that led to white superiority and segregation in the South. While many men made progress, Martin’s sacrifice was the hugest step forwards. His last speech was the “I Have a Dream” speech in 1963. He chanted “Let freedom ring” during the March on Washington.

When Martin marched, there was no fear of death in his steps. Every move he made meant the future for his children and a myriad others. His methods of peace were nonviolent, yet riots occurred in the midst of many mental battles. In 1963 Martin had gotten arrested in Birmingham. Regardless of his oppressed position, he wrote “Letter from Birmingham Jail” to white clergymen to defend his right to protest towards the unfair treatment of black people in Alabama. By looking at King’s water calm eyes, no fear of death lurked around.

Throughout history, many men fought against the cruelty of this world. Throughout history, many men hunted for peace in this world. Throughout history, many men died without seeing their dreams come close to a conclusion in this world. Regardless of the failed attempts of many brave men and women, Martin Luther King didn’t let that reality stop him from helping to unite the races of America to be much closer than ever before. He went through bombings, vandalism, criticism, and stress as he led many others along with him on his journey for peace. Many followers believed in Martin to turn their hopes into reality.
